To recharge or pay utility bills online, one does not need to be computer savvy or a technical expert. It constitutes simple, easy steps. The initial process involves the following steps:-
- You need to type the website address of the service provider or the App of the service operator if an App is available.
- Alternately you can also use the site or the App of one of the popular and trusted resellers including Phonepe, Mobiqwik and Paytm.
Choose from either (a) or (b) as deemed fit by you. With more number of bills to recharge the second option should be more suitable. Also if you are looking to get some additional benefits like cash back offers and discounts then also the second offer would be appropriate.
If you decide to go ahead with the first option, then the next steps involve the following. It may differ from provider to provider, but overall they are similar.
- Fill up the customer id or the connection number
- Enter a captcha if the service provider is using one
- You would have already received the recharge utility bill on your email id. The same bill would be displayed again for you to view.
- Once viewed and you are ready with your credit or debit card details or Netbanking details, press the pay button.
- The next page consists of details that need to be entered by you about the method of payment, card number, expiry date, CVV or the bank customer id and password.
- Fill in the amount of recharge and press the submit button. Your bank confirms account debit in a minute or two followed by the confirmation on the payment of the bill. You will also receive an email confirmation on the same at the end of the process.
If you decide to go ahead with the latter, then the process would differ a bit.
- First, choose the service against which you want to recharge or pay.
- Post choosing the service, you need to select the service provider or the operator against whose bill the payment has to be done.
- As you proceed to the next step, you will be asked to fill in the amount and the payment mode and associated details as mentioned in the steps above.
- While making the payment choose the best offer or deal or discount coupon and put it into effect. The final amount will be informed by the site, and once you give the go-ahead, the amount will be deducted from your credit card account or bank account. You can also use the virtual currency to settle bills.
- You will immediately receive a notification on the successful debit of your account as well as payment completion. Email notification to this effect will be sent your email id too.
